Could you add a recipe page to your blog ( in your free time : – )
I drool every time I read one of your dinner menus !!
I’d love to, Lauren, but that’s not really the purpose of this blog. Thanks for the kudos, though
Check out my Facebook page for occasional menus and recipes…
Hi Deb, love your writing. Terrific stuff. Steve O’Brien
Thanks for stopping by, Steve!
Check out the inside back page of Consumer Reports magazine — they have their own humor blog on product labeling and misapplications, BION, and some of the entries are really funny.
I just got a one-page “Renewal Notice” from the National Flood Insurance Program. In quick succession, it says 1) “Please follow renewal instructions on the remittance coupon below”; 2) “This is not a bill / Retain for your records”; 3) “Detach here and send this portion with your payment”. Ahh, what’s a consumer to do?
Worse: Turns out the “not-a-bill” is to be paid from escrow by my mortgage company and i am NOT to pay it, despite the other instructions. Sigh.
BTW I’m a tad surprised you don’t include your crossword productions for the Onion in the column display at the right on this page.
